CO2 is naught to mention
Up against the Sun’s expansion
That will surely cook our goose
Sauté the Earth in Betelgeuse.
Astrophysicists believe that the Sun will eventually become a red giant star (like Betelgeuse in the constellation Orion). In the process, it's energy output will increase greatly (making Earth uninhabitable) and it will expand like a balloon to 200 times its size or more , possibly engulfing the Earth in the process.
Don't worry. It most likely won't happen for a billion years or so. In other words, notwithstanding the above ditty (intended to poke fun at claims of the climate change deniers), CO2 is actually a much bigger concern (at least for now).
